Admission procedure

1. Higher Secondary (Arts):

A candidate applying for Class XI must have passed H.S.L.C Examination or equivalent with minimum of 45% aggregate in Arts subjects. Students who fail to obtain the above marks will be considered for admission subject to the availability of seats.

2. Degree Pass Course:

Candidates whoever seeks admission for FYUP must have passed the +2 (Plus Two) Examination or equivalent.

3. Honours Course:

  1. A Candidate shall be eligible for admission to the Honours Course provided he/she secures a minimum 45% marks in relevant subject at the 10 +2 stage or equivalent. Further, he/she shall also be required to secure a minimum of 45 % aggregate at the 10+2 level Examination.
  2. A student shall be eligible for Honours in a subject not offered as Elective at the 10+2 level provided, he/she secures a minimum of 50 % aggregate at the 10+ 2 Examination.
  3. Candidates who have passed 10+2 Examination in Science or Commerce may apply for Honours in Arts subjects provided he/she has secured a minimum of 50 % marks in aggregate.
  4. A student seeking admission for Honours in English shall require to have secured 45% marks in Elective English at the 10+2 level examination and an aggregate of 45 % or 50% aggregate if he/she does not have Elective English at the 10+2 level

How to apply:

Application form for Admission, Prospectus of all classes can be downloaded from the Forms provided in the College website. Students will have deposit fees through SBI COLLECT in favour of the Account No.

Submission of Application Forms:

Hard copy of the application form duly filled up online along with the e-Slip of payment of fee should be submitted in the Office during working hours. Incomplete application forms will not be accepted. It is to be noted that application form submitted after the last date shall not be entertained.

Change of Subjects:

A student may change his/her subject within period of 15 days from the date of commencing of the classes with the permission of the Principal in consultation with the Head of the Department concerned.

Documents to be submitted:

  1. Admit Cards & Mark Sheets of HSLC/SSLC or HSSLC or equivalent passed.
  2. Date of Birth Certificate (issued by the school authority / Municipality Board)
  3. SC/ST Certificate (Schedule Caste & Schedule Tribes students)
  4. Character Certificate from the Headmaster of the School where he/she studied last.
  5. Migration Certificate for one who has been come from Board or University other than the MBOSE and NEHU.
  6. Two passport-size photographs
