Captain Williamson Memorial Government College is a Co-education institute offering 10+2 Course (Arts) and Four-Year Under-Graduate (FYUG) NEP, 2020 (Bachelor of Arts). The Science and Commerce streams will also introduce from the academic year, 2025-2026.

2. Subject taught in the Four Years Under-Graduate Programme (FYUG) NEP, 2020:

Subjects taught in the college are in line with the NEP, 2020 guidelines and curriculum which focuses on multidisciplinary education aiming at providing students with a holistic learning experience by combining insights and methods from various academic fields. The sole purpose of this approach is to help students develop deeper skills and a broader perspective like enhancing collaboration- students can learn to communicate effectively, respect different viewpoints and appreciate the value of teamwork.

Secondly, creativity, personal and professional development. Students can enhance problem-solving skills and gain ability to adapt skills in career opportunities. Multi-Disciplinary Course also offers the opportunity to understand how knowledge could be brought together in an interdisciplinary way and applied in different contexts. Students can generate unique and innovative ideas that can lead to many benefits.

Vocational courses, primarily, aims at giving a specialized training programs that prepare students for specific jobs or trades by providing practical knowledge and hands-on training, basically, to those whose have special educational needs with the hope that these courses would help the students to develop their potential and prepare to join the workforce or further their education.

  • Improving socio-economic conditions to the poor and underprivileged students by providing vocational training, soft skills, and employment assistance.
